Twenty-two years after the death of Hahnemann, founder of homeopathic treatment, an influential scholar presented to the world a new system of treatment in 1865. This eminent scholar belonged to Italy. His system was nothing but a twisted version of the principles of Hahnemann.Hahnemann believed that the medicine for treatment should be simple and in minimum quantity so that the diseases is eradicated. He also believed that many symptoms of one disease could be treated by one or more medicine that produced of same symptoms in the body. the founder of this new therapy, Dr. Count Caesar Maity, propounded that diseases can be treated by a collective use of medicines as per the symptoms. Hahnemann gave the slogan similia simlibus curantur i.e., treatment by medicine that created the same symptoms. On the other hand, Dr. Maity said complexa, complexis curantur. He said that chronic ailments can be treated only by intricate ad collective medicines. As it is there is not much difference between the two systems. Only electro-homeopathy(or Mattei cancer cure) is more complicated.

According to Dr. Maiti, the diseases take birth due to impurities and defective flow of blood in the body. he asserted that matters can be set right if the blood and its flow is set right. The impurity of the blood can be due to many reasons. The treatment has to follow the prescribed procedure.

This system asserts that all its medicine divide themselves into two electrically charged parts as soon as they enter the body. Dr. Maity believed that unless the medicine does not have an effect on the nervous system, it cannot fight the disease. The entire nervous system works on electrical impulses, as such, it was propounded that these imbalances in electrical impulses can be set right only be electrical impulses

Dr. Maity never explained as to how this electrical impulse will reach the nervous and what would be the end result. even then, in many cases, electro-homeopathy has acted in a miraculous manner. but, there have been many amazing cures by witchcraft and sorcery also.
