A few decades ago, back this therapy introduced injections as well. Though this was done after the lapse of a long time, it provided some substances to this method. At least, it became somewhat different or more advanced than homoeopathy. Dr Cuder Brass, Dr J.L. Gildon and in India Dr A.L. Sinha encouraged the use of the injections. Injections are given in different measure during the treatment. simple Injections are given though anus or vagina. some patients feel hesitant to undergo this treatment because of this reason. 15 types of injections are used. These injections are given as required in the skin, muscles veins, fat, brain, spinal column, glands, joints, heart, stomach, saliva glands, outer eye, any natural hole, bladder, gums, reproductive organs and throat.

Some popular medicines used in electro homeopathy are as follows --Polycresteen, Digesteen, Mixoteen, Vermiteen, Febriteen and Limfateen. These medicines are widely used. In certain cases, it has been found that those allopathic medicines that have adverse side effects can be safely used with the medicines of electrohomeopathy. this has not yet been confirmed by scientific investigations.

The biggest handicap of this system is that it is never ascertained if any medicine would give rise to any allergy. Allergy may be caused without any prior warning.

This therapy has been propagated by privately established institutions in India. Though there are eletrohomeopathy institutes in many states of the country, there is hardly any research or scientific investigations done by them. At least, there is no information regarding these matters. The government has not recognised this therapy. It is apparent that this therapy will have to undertake scientific research and cross many hurdles, before it can be accorded the status of an independence medical systems.
