Modern Ayurveda

Great strides are being made by this method in the present time.  Some 700 researchers are being carried in 70 countries on this therapy. This therapy is also taking full advantage of the knowledge gained by other therapies. Ayurvedic treatment is now far more developed now and is entering the modern age. But, still there is no trace or indication of the old surgical practices.

 The present Ayurvedic physicians feel proud in writing their prescriptions in English. They also unhesitatingly take help of modern appliances and instruments for E.C.G and E.E.G. They also take help of pathological tests for toxic elements, sugar in urine and blood, and also X-ray. Now Ayurvedic physicians generally use sthetescops and blood pressure treatment. This has brought the advance technology of Allopathy at its doorstep and this is going to prove quite beneficial.

Another interesting factor and development factor is that many modern allopathic physicians are prescribing Ayurvedic medicines like chyavanprash, aonla, triphala, pancharist having been convinced of their efficacy. But the allopathic doctors do not agree that phlegm, bile and gas, that are invisible to the eyes, can cause diseases. 

On the other hand, conditions are such in this land of Ayurveda that a man can easily become an Ayurvedic physician even when he lacks the capacity to pass fifth class in a village school.  The result is that a large number of ill-educated Vaidyas are being mass produced which not augur wells for this method of treatment. Its reputation is bound to suffer in the hands of such physicians. Those who are well versed in this method will have to come forward to this situation.
